Meraki Founder: Jay Davenport
Jay's experience is wide ranging and successful having developed the knowledge, skills and understanding to positively impact individuals, teams and organisations across multiple sectors. His breadth of experience and success, drawing on the education system and beyond, has created excellent working relationships with education trusts, schools and high performing organisations that are focused on achieving success. In the education sector, Jay's experience includes 15 years of senior leadership incorporating 2 successful headships as well as strategic educational development roles in Multi Academy Trusts and governance roles at both primary and secondary phases.
Leadership Development
Leadership development programmes, delivered in person and online, are in demand from senior and executive teams and individuals. Jay, currently serves as part of the delivery team for Tower Hamlets Education Partnership and has created and supported leadership courses for PiXL and the School of PiXL leadership, that have been delivered virtually for member schools nationally. As a serving Principal until summer 2021, Jay was responsible for leadership development across the Multi-Academy Trust; creating and implementing the Excellence Pathways programmes. The leadership programmes supported aspiring leaders at all levels of the organisation. Latterly, Excellence Pathways was to reach educators in all phases across Northamptonshire through ASK Education.
School Improvement
For the last 4 years, Jay has successfully led Manor School Sports College as Principal, creating a culture where all members of the school community were enabled to flourish. Reimagining the curriculum and teaching and learning processes to reflect, educational research whilst meeting the individual needs of the students through understanding the context and community. This led to a year on year improvements in outcomes, a very successful OFSTED inspection against the latest framework in March 2020 and survival through a global pandemic! Jay's current and relevant experience can help your schools unlock their potential.

Business, public and charitable sectors
Working in partnership with others, and drawing on the very transferable skills and knowledge from the education sector, we are working with SMEs and corporates to provide coaching and leadership development. This autumn sees the launch of reflective research and development of our Flourish programme for any organisation looking to grow through its people. Education Sector
As part of the steering group for the grassroots Educating Northants organisation Jay was instrumental in ensuring the successful online delivery of the Educating Northants 2021 conference. This event brought together over 100 contributors and over 1000 educator attendees via a mixture of videoed and live panel discussions. Alongside and as part of this, Jay is the creator of #NEDtalks; a half-termly series of edu-talks around a theme that attract up to 200 educators at a time.
